Thank You
Hello brave listeners and readers,
I’m coming to you from a narrow hallway in the Charlottesville airport, where they have seats secreted away. I have opted out of listening to the detailed description of life’s minor procession from one of my fellow travelers who is speaking to a colleague, I think, but who, based on projection, scope and general brio, appears to be speaking to mankind. Perhaps you can hear him where you are.
I returned to the land of my youth to participate in a discussion at the Miller Center, which I quite enjoyed. The YouTube video is here.
I am happy to report that our Reporter’s Notebook received another recognition. We won the New York Press Club award for Commentary. So that’s awfully neat.
I filed Stack the Week a little early this week so that I could make the plane back to New York where I will meet my Virginia classmate as I am lucky enough to these Friday evenings. You can also find Stack the Week on iTunes podcasts, where you can also leave a review.
Thank you as always for subscribing and particularly those who have a paid subscription. It is a thrill to write for you and subject you to these experiments.
Have a lovely weekend to you all.
John

It’s people like you, John, that provide that lifeline to reality, like mindedness, and, dare I say it, hope.
Thank you for your continued efforts to inform your readers of what is happening both in the world, and adjacent to you in the airport. Congratulations on the New York Press Club award for Commentary for Reporter's Notebook!
