I do not completely understand why strikes AFTER the midterms. If those strikes would bring a conclusive victory = wouldn't that help the midterms? Or, is it to punish thoe who disagree?

Trump's ramblings at his rallies remind me of that guy at the bar who believes that third beer makes him really smart, and that as long as there is an audience he pontificates on the important issues, boasting that if he were coach of that NFL team they would make it to the Super Bowl and that if he were mayor taxes would be lower and municipal services better. The other bar customers know he is pretty harmless, and eventually the bartender calls a cab for the establishment's expert and he is on his way home. Unfortunately, Trump's words, no matter how outrageous, potentially carry huge consequences. Voting out his enablers is about the best thing we can do right now.

I wonder if many in the audience recognized the error (or ignorance) in naming Ho Chi Minh City as the better target of bombing.
