I also wrote this week about polling on Iran, how the founders would have thought about putting the president’s face on the $250 bill and how we should think about a deal that opens the Strait of Hormuz.

I am so very grateful to all of you who have offered to pay for your subscription. It is sustaining in more ways than one, but particularly on Fridays which is the heaviest Stack the Week day.

Anne and I are now going to plot the remainder of the day, which will include lamb and some of this wonderful cheese we purchased from Costco which is in a container so large it requires a life vest so you don’t fall in. Have a wonderful weekend.
