The current occupant in THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE has spent 10 years of our lives in the 4th quadrant. (I'm purposely not subtracting the 4 years he wasn't in office. He still affected us daily.) Where he spends the bulk of his time should be enough to prove his unfitness for the job. Very good point, John. Thanks for writing this piece.
Wondering how to fit the comment made this morning by Marco Rubio on the Today show that the President is not stopping coverage, he’s just stopping reporters from using “his” house as their base for bad reporting, into the Eisenhower Matrix.
Yes John. The media's job is to speak truth to power whether they like it or not. Glad to read that many media outlets have banded together to sue him over this decision. Strength in numbers.
I first learned about the four quadrants in Steven Covey’s book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. If memory serves me correctly Quadrant Two was most important: Not Urgent but Important or Planning. I think I like to live in his Quadrant Four: Not Urgent and Not Important. I certainly spend lots of time on Substack. 😀 I cannot remember where the original idea developed.

Virtually EVERYTHING Trump does is “self promotion” so he is stuck in Quadrant 4 and he is NEVER going to move to any other quadrant.
