As chair of the River City Journalism Fund, rcjf.org a non-profit that supports coverage of marginalized communities in St. Louis , John Dickerson is a role model for me. I can’t match his grace and wit. But I can heartily recommend his newsletter and everything else like The Gabfest where he holds forth.
A timely, much needed, comparative analysis of the affordability concept. Thank you for the hard work it takes to bring forward a close data driven examination.
Reading his words is even worse than listening to him. He can’t be helped by an editor. Trump needs a doctor. America needs Trump to obtain medical care, which includes mental health care. America also needs more of John Dickerson. 🫶
I can count on John to sort out the truth from all the lies. I can trust what he writes and for that I am forever grateful. Thanks for doing your job as an impartial journalist. I’m a big fan!
He’s out here bragging about “winning on affordability” while most people can barely afford their groceries. It’s like he’s giving an economic weather report from another planet. You can’t talk people into believing their bills are smaller - they actually have to be.
Like so many things about old age, you either mellow or you are a HULK size version of yourself. The lies get more absurd and the bluster and fury get HUGE.

Keep telling the truth. The country needs to hear it right now.
John, you are a truth teller with enviable integrity. You are on the right side of history. I will follow you wherever you go.
I haven’t been watching the networks for news, so substack is my first real exposure to John Dickerson. I like it.
Data and facts matter. Thank you, John.
It’s painful to read his comments.
It pains me how so very many people believe him. My health suffers over these types of people… especially my having to live amongst them.

SO glad you’re here on Substack! Your reporting- and your sense of humor are so important. Thank you & Go “Hoos!

Is this an opportunity? There’s a guy on Instagram who explains complicated economic problems using keg cups. Sully Dawg.
Maybe we literally have to spoon feed people to show them that what they are experiencing in real life is a result of Trump’s policies. 🤷🏻♀️
I love your commentaries, John Dickerson. You were the only reason that I kept tuning in to CBS.
Thank you!
