Reading The Authenticity Project. Sort of like journaling.

Probably my fault, but having trouble hearing this, though I believe my subscription is active. We don’t need separate Navel Gazing subscription to hear this, right?

^^ This, John. Some guidance, please. Should we cancel this sub and subscribe under your podcast now? How to proceed, please. I endured the commercials last NG season but if we are on the path of trading this space for NG....well, you get my drift. With limited $s, where should we put ours to get best access to your writings?

I clicked a lot of links and never heard a word. Best wishes and much success.

If you go to the individual and labeled season two episode one or episode two those will contain the episodes.

I clicked on the individual episodes and was asked to subscribe. Is this a separate subscription? I cannot afford both, so please let us know if this present subscription is ending. TY

glad to hear!

but what happened to your daily news podcast? It quickly became a daily favorite of mine, and then it disappeared.

Hello Karen, I explained the situation with that experiment in this posting:

Thanks for pointing me to that explanatory post (I hadn't yet followed your substack when it was published). I will miss listening to your takes on the day's news.

Unable to listen to this. It wants me to subscribe. Do we have to subscribe separately to this?

Speaking of, and totally sort of off topic, I was dismayed to see that The Guardian is raising prices significantly. They were the only 'general' news source I subscribed to, with solid political reporting but also lots of non-political stories for nice mental breaks (eg navel gazing).

With those of us desperate for real journalism now forced to personally subscribe to each source, it limits who we can support. The sad reality box that Trump 2.0 and corp media have forced us into.

Hi John-Need a little help please-> is there a transcript available for Naval Gazing Season 1 & 2 to read for those of us who never have time, focus or desire to actually listen to a podcast but want to be able to enjoy your thoughts? Being able to reading the Stack of the Week was amazing and a great way to access information. If Naval Gazing is only in pod cast form then I ( and I suspect a few others followers out there ...) lose out....but that is ok ( sorta).... just wondered what options exist....

John Dickerson's avatar

Yes, all the transcripts for Navel Gazing are there.

Navel Gazing was my lovely, gentle escape each week. Highly recommended partly because it was an escape from the daily news. I imagine previous seasons are available on podcast apps?

But I love STW if that is hanging around. I was under the impression it was riding off into the sunset for now but we still need John's take on real life events so what to do when our budget limits number of subs we can have?
