Thank you yet again, John, for pointing out the innumerable pitfalls of ignoring the lessons of history.

We know Trump has an extremely short attention span, lacks the patience to regularly attend briefings, and believes he is smarter than everyone around him. Instead of a competent SecDef who, after extensive discussions with military leaders, would continuously advise the President of the risks and benefits of military options, we have Hegseth who talks down to our generals and acts like a platoon leader rallying his soldiers to storm an enemy-held position at any cost. From day 1 we knew we were getting into one large mess. And thank you John for the historical reference.

Voters I expect to be ill-informed and blinded by partisanship. The Republican senators who said, “sure why not” to Hegseth, and then “no cause for alarm” after Signalgate have no excuse.

So full but succinct, able to straddle and double back. Love it!

Thank you again for all your hard work. I really enjoy the audio versions. Can we have more of them?

Thanks for your insight again. I can't help but wonder if several efforts are underway. The hot and cold behavior by the Angry Orange is driving the stock market up and down in wild swings. Someone with advance knowledge of his next mood swing could make a killing. Also, higher prices at the pumps = higher profits plus the sale of American crude must be running at maximum. Same with LNG. DJT's lack of empathy blinds him in negotiations, especially with folks who were raised to see America as the Great Satan. Anyway, thanks for the Sherman quote.
