And I thought that his hijacking of Dignified Transfers was horrendous. This goes several levels lower… I am thankful for Director Mueller’s service in and out of uniform, for his integrity and selfless service to this nation. My prayer is that his family will know and feel the support of many in this time of mourning. May Robert Mueller rest in peace and hear the words, well done, good and faithful servant.

This is so sad and totally embarrassing. I hope the spirits of Mr. Mueller and John Cain haunt Trump for all of eternity. Shame on him.

And the complicit republicans who abused such a good man (Mueller) for his good public works.

Heartwarming to hear you talk about all the things we feel each day, the battle between light and dark, our constant battle to expand the light, our daily horror at the evil and ignorance of DJT… we each need to do all we can, both quietly & loudly to eradicate this blight on our country and it's future…

Compare Trump's reaction here to the "outrage" the MAGA folks claimed when the Democrats did not adequately mourn the death of Charlie Kirk. Outrageous.

I think the biggest moral challenge I will ever face is being merely relieved — and not rejoicing — when the Reaper comes for the Chief Grave-Dancer.

I'm not so worried only because he has entrenched so much evil and unlawfulness that his death alone will no longer fix us. Perhaps in 2017 it could have. I won't be sad for his death but I am already sad thinking about the healing that will almost surely not be completed in my remaining lifetime.

I understand your feelings, and sadly agree with you.

A challenge for me, as well. I don't want to rejoice in his death, but fear I just might do that.

If one believes at all in the universal connection, in intention, in the ripple created worldwide by the wave of one hand, one kind word, it is staggering that he is still standing given the amount of disgust and hatred this one man has accumulated for himself. I can only hope, when his time comes, his death is a reflection of his life.

His disgusting comment of Mr. Mueller is yet another step in Trump’s feeble attempt rewrite history into showing him as an innocent victim, unjustly persecuted. Pardoning the January 6th rioters does not mean they did not riot at his urging. Indicting James Comey and now calling him to testify does not mean investigations of Trump were malicious. Ordering investigations of election results already validated numerous times does not mean he really won the election. Attacking Iran does not make the Epstein files vanish. And certainly, that gold coin with his image on it will not get him into heaven, even if a million of them are dumped at the gate of heaven.

Thank you for writing about this. His behavior is so egregious everyone should know about it!

DJT is a broken human being, with no dignity nor empathy for anyone other than himself. If there is a heaven it is the last place he will be after he dies. To the contrary, he'll be in hell with his icon Roy Cohn and his good buddy Jeffrey Epstein.

What a sad sad man he is. What's even sadder is he is surrounded by people who coddle him There will come a day of reckoning for them all some in this life and some in the next.

Muller kept his commitment never to give in disclosure. Stood his ground and exhibited West Point standards.

Cyn B's avatar

And was attacked not just by Trump and elected republicans but also by citizens, again and again, who could not understand those standards in the evil we were facing.

To celebrate Trump’s demise, is hard to resist. What will help me not celebrate? Wondering who will replace him and if that will be better or worse.

As far as Trump getting to heaven? I question what the people around him are telling him.

Fortunately for him, people he has created hell on earth for, and their desire for revenge are not the ones making the final decision.

People, those who declare they are Christian and surround the President, have quite a responsibility to offer advice that represents the teaching of Christ. They will have a lot to answer for. They might want to prepare their defense. Because they were given the information, the knowledge of right and wrong, knowledge of civil and biblical law. And they didn’t stop Trump, they seemed to have encouraged him.

And then there was the pile on by citizens, particularly Democrats, who blamed Mueller for every law Trump was enabled to break, every sin, every shortcoming. It was all Mueller's fault, not Congress, not the voters. That one must have stung.

Shame, shame, shame on you, Donald Trump. Shame on you.

Thank you for so eloquently articulating what so many of us feel about the repetitive embarrassing behavior of this elected government official of our country. Who raised such an awful human being?

Dishonorable ways to send off a major service man, mentioning of his passing exhibits callousness to Muller family. Set no example in any kind of etiquette properness. We got to get better at this, ways not to be in public eye.
