Thank you yet again, John, for calling the liars out with verifiable facts.

Why doesn’t the press push back more? He needs them more than they need him.

Because they are craven for access. Because the 24/7 trump show has been their addiction for 10 years now. They have forgotten how to be actual journalists and instead model themselves after Fox & other disreputable ‘news’. And because their parent cos are profiting from the arrangement.

But they can do all of that without sitting in a room with him. The guy “truths” everything anyways.

George Conway has a good summary of the various laws that were violated.

This entire administration is culpable, liable for any number of crimes & cover ups. These unjustified murders, while pardoning drug lords and other known criminals (no doubt for bribes), just shows the grift and disrespect for human life. It is all a game to them. Getting rid of Trump alone is no longer sufficient (& Vance could be a younger, worse version). There must be no future verbiage of “looking ahead” without actual accountability, legal charges, and prosecution of those perpetuating this multi-tiered destruction. Without that the stink will hang over this country forever, not to mention encourage more bad behavior from our ‘public servants’.

According to different sources on Substack, (which I can no longer find) This was not only a wartime crime, but it is an international maritime law crime. Which in my understanding goes back further in time for existing than the war crime.

Hegseth and his National Guard unit had previous problems with military crimes.

In his new role, he is acting like a pirate, which I caution is not the side of the law to be on. Slavery on a ship may no longer be possible, but loss of life for violating both maritime and war crime laws is still on the books—- as is long jail terms.

Killing people because they survived a previous attack is sickening. It shows how deprived of conscience and decency the military has become under his mentally deranged mind.
