My first instinct was “once a day”. But on more thought I would like to change my vote to “all you want”…and this survey won’t let me change my choice. The reason for my change of mind is that the news cycle we are currently in requires updates at a breathless pace. I would be happy to see you leave CBS and be on Substack. I would be inclined to pay for your updates and news.
I can’t imagine you could post too much for me. But since I was wrong once before, have at it if you like. And I’ll yell uncle, John, if you exceed my tolerance.
As we already miss CBS News Plus with “Reporter’s Notebook” we’d love frequent posts. Back in the 60’s there was a “Radio Free Europe” TV commercial showing a man in Eastern Europe tuning a radio from station to station. Then he lands on Radio Free Europe and everyone in the room rushes to the radio. Your post notifications amidst the deluge of emails are for me like finding Radio Free Europe was for the Eastern Europeans.
I have always enjoyed reading your posts and hearing your point of view, John. Love Political Gabfest and loved your Navel Gazing podcast too! Keep it coming!
I'll take whatever you have to give, John. My husband and I have always respected you and are happy to see you leave CBS. (Well, sad to see you leave but glad you had the courage of your convictions to make such a move.) We need your voice. And thank you!
Notes should really be a short paragraph or 2 that can be posted a few times a day if something new crops up. For your long form thought pieces please create a post.
I miss your wisdom on CBS news. I would love to read more of your telling of events of the day and your thoughts on all subjects. Media news has pushed out experienced, knowledgeable journalists, for script readers. I'm sure they are nice people. Nevertheless, it seems independent thinking, journalistic integrity is lost.

Sometimes a quiet voice is just what we need more of.
We tend to listen more intently to the quiet voice

That's a high honor from me hah. There aren't many I would welcome an onslaught of emails from but you are an exception...within reason.
Enjoy reading your insight about happenings in our world. Every day would be great!
Post !! Post!! Post!!
Thank you for your attention in this matter. 😂

Thanks for asking:-)
I myself chose notes as that’s how I read/work naturally. I become overwhelmed, lose focus when presented with posts from all directions.
You provide something my feed routinely lacks: Insight. Post away, my friend.

I rely on your information and insights. Keep it coming . . .
John, My husband and I will read your posts, emails, and listen to any video you share! We have watched you on CBS for years.
Great to see you here!
