A prayer from our wedding

It's great that our son can read but it was almost too much to handle when he read this handwritten prayer from our wedding that hangs on our bedroom wall:

"May the gift of the Holy Spirit abide with you both and light your way: teach you all things, and enable you to have a right judgment in all things: give you utterance, and grant that you each understand what the other says: comfort you, and enable you to see visions and dream dreams."

The prayer was written by Ernest Mead, who compiled it from a variety of traditional prayers. He was one of my wife's professors at school with whom I became friends through her. He is one of the greatest men I have ever met in all of the collection of great and famous men I've met.
