Face the Nation

Today I was on the show for the first time, fifty years after my mother worked on it as an associate producer. Her granddaughter and namesake, who she never met, sat in the green room watching Scooby Doo while I was on. The executive producer for the show was nice enough to let me bring the kids when I couldn't get a sitter and in the end I was delighted to have them with me though I had visions of both of them causing some Seinfeld-like mischief.
