400 p. report on ability to handle another terrorist attack says there is an "appalling" lack of readiness to respond to a domestic catastrophe.
You want people to make their presidential choices based on issues, experience and judgment fine. But then you'd better be prepared to find something to do with these people, because there are a lot of them in both parties. I know, I hear it all the time:

I did one of those surveys on the web and you put down all your thinking and McCain came up first. But just watching him in the debate I think Romney has so much more of a presidential bearing and presence."
As you can tell from the picture below if you click on this story you are going to read about a 62 year old grandfather with a paunch.
This piece of tape is supposed to make Katie Couric look bad (why else would Drudge post it) but I think it does just the opposite. Given the number of television personalities I've seen in just this setting, this is the most normal person I've ever seen. Oh and Couric has a cold while behaving normally. Having just gone through the same sleepless campaign nightmare with a cold I can't see how she is this thoroughly normal.
